Hi, I’m Scott Strubinger
RD, CAADC, LCSW, CCTP
Mental Health Therapist
Helping individuals find a new truth and a brighter future!
I find it helpful to think of therapy as being in recovery.
Bessel Van Der Kolk, in his book The Body Keeps The Score, defines recovery as
"re-establishing ownership of your body and your mind... feeling free to know what you know and feel what you feel without becoming overwhelmed, enraged, ashamed, or collapsed."

WHO I AM HERE TO HELP
I work with adults, often people whose lives have been affected by trauma...personally or in your family. Bottom line, whatever you feel is holding you back, I am here to understand and find a path forward. You may be experiencing difficulty managing strong emotions, or having a feeling that you are out of control or not safe.
I want you to know that together we can overcome the shame and regret of the past so that you can see who you really are and understand that your life is really worth fighting for.
